Who Are We?

The takeover of small businesses by large corporations has contributed to the decline of personal service. This has occurred in various fields and real estate is no exception. Where there was once a large number of independent agencies committed to satisfying customer needs, we see now a handful of large corporations touting how big they are, how many locations they are in, and what their gross volume was last year.

Disenchanted with this trend, Tom Bosso founded New Tampa Realty. Together with his partner, Daryl Sullivan, Tom has kept our focus on the provision of personal service to support all of their clients needs.

Tom Bosso

Since starting New Tampa Realty in 1995, Tom has developed the company’s philosophy of personal client service while earning a reputation for a professional, honest approach to real estate that achieves outstanding results. Concurrently holding licenses as a real estate broker, a real estate appraiser, and a mortgage broker, Tom is able to better understand all aspects of the real estate industry and its trends, providing his clients and colleagues with knowledge and guidance for all situations. During this time, Tom has listed and sold homes, acquired and developed several tracts of land, and built custom homes and town homes throughout the Tampa area. Of course, Tom is our founder!

For more than twenty years prior to NTR, Tom worked in the construction industry, ultimately owning an electrical contracting firm in his hometown of Niagara Falls, NY. Tom relocated to Tampa in 1993, where he lives with his wife, Maryann, and their 2 children, Christina and Marisa. Tom is also a Realtor® member of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR).

Daryl Sullivan

Since joining New Tampa Realty, Daryl has helped develop the marketing and business administration strategies necessary to create the unique identity that is NTR. While coordinating the move into new offices, and leading the company’s recruitment activities, Daryl has also worked hard to establish himself as a respected realtor in the New Tampa area. His philosophy of professional, personal service to all clients matches with the views of his partner, and NTR’s founder, Tom Bosso, making them a formidable team. Daryl joined NTR as its second employee.

For almost twenty years before he came to NTR, Daryl held various executive and sales management positions in several well-known telecommunications companies like MCI, Winstar, and CityNet Telecommunications (which he co-founded in 2000). During this time, he developed a business style that focused on the delivery of competitively-priced products and services, supported by professional customer service.

Born in Australia, Daryl is married to Vivian, and with their 2 children, Marissa and Emma, they have lived in Tampa for 9 years. Daryl is a Realtor® member of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR).
